These terms and conditions constitute an agreement between us and you the visitor/customer governing your access and the use of our website. At the outset, you should be aware that your use of our website is at your sole risk and you agree that you will be personally responsible for your use of our website and for all of your communication and activity on our website.

Liability
We are not liable for any losses or damages caused by this website. We reserve the right to refuse any order without giving reason. Upon cancellation of an order, we will make all reasonable attempts to contact you using the details provided. All received monies will be refunded using the method received for online purchases.

Delivery
The delivery times provided by us are estimates only. We will not be held accountable for late deliveries or loss or damage relating to late deliveries. Please ensure you enter the correct delivery address as we cannot be held responsible for incorrectly entered delivery addresses.

Acceptance of goods/services
The buyer is responsible for inspecting the goods/services for fault/error and notifying us immediately should there be a fault/error.

Pricing
Prices on this website are subject to change without notice. All prices are in Australian Dollars and include GST. All credit cards are charged in Australian Dollars.

Order cancellations
For physical products – if notified before goods have been dispatched, we can accommodate order cancellations. If items have been shipped, we reserve the right to refuse order cancellation or charge a cancellation fee should we not be able to request the return of the package from our delivery service.

Terms and Conditions Mr Remediation – Mould Remediation Services

  1. Scope of Work Mr Remediation (“the Contractor”) agrees to perform mould remediation services as detailed in the quotation or service agreement provided to the Client. All services will be conducted professionally and in accordance with industry standards and safety protocols.
  2. Access and Utilities The Client must provide the Contractor with safe, unobstructed access to all required areas during normal working hours. All necessary utilities (electricity, water, lighting, etc.) must be available on-site for the duration of the works.
  3. Property Damage Disclaimer Due to the invasive nature of mould remediation, minor, incidental damage may occur to walls, ceilings, skirting, fixtures, or paintwork, despite every effort being made to avoid it. By accepting these terms, the Client acknowledges that Mr Remediation is not liable for any cosmetic or minor structural damage resulting from the remediation process unless caused by gross negligence.
  4. Limitation of Liability To the fullest extent permitted by law, Mr Remediation disclaims liability for:
    • Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages;
    • Pre-existing damage or hidden conditions (e.g. behind walls or flooring);
    • Health conditions or mould recurrence caused by underlying or unresolved moisture problems;
    • Any loss of use or income due to delays caused by unforeseen site conditions or weather events.
  5. Client Responsibilities The Client agrees to:
    • Disclose known structural, electrical, or moisture issues before work begins;
    • Remove or protect fragile, valuable, or irreplaceable items from the work area;
    • Ensure the site is safe and clear of children, pets, and unnecessary foot traffic during the works.
  6. Booking & Cancellation Policy A 30% non-refundable deposit is required to secure a booking. If the Client cancels or reschedules the service with less than 48 hours’ notice, the deposit will be forfeited in full. Rescheduling with more than 48 hours’ notice will be accommodated where possible, subject to availability.
  7. Warranties and Mould Recurrence No warranty is given for future mould prevention unless otherwise stated in writing. While every effort is made to address the current issue, mould may return if moisture issues persist or are not addressed by the Client.
  8. Payment Terms Full payment is due upon completion of the works unless otherwise agreed in writing. Late payments may attract additional charges or interest. Invoices unpaid after 14 days may be referred to debt recovery services.
  9. Dispute Resolution In the event of a dispute, both parties agree to first attempt informal resolution. If unresolved, disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Queensland.
  10. Acceptance of Terms By paying the deposit and confirming a booking, the Client agrees to these Terms and Conditions in full. These terms override any prior verbal agreements unless confirmed in writing by both parties.
