Our Story
Your local restoration and remediation team
Mr Remediation is a locally owned Australian company led by Managing Directors Paul Pringle and Chad Pay. We help homeowners, property managers and businesses with mould remediation, water damage restoration, HVAC hygiene and specialised cleaning.
We service Wide Bay and Fraser Coast, including Bundaberg, Maryborough, Hervey Bay, Childers, Gin Gin, Gympie and Agnes Water / 1770.
Our approach starts with understanding the issue, explaining the findings and agreeing on the scope before work proceeds.
Training behind the work
Mr Remediation is an IICRC Certified Firm. Our team’s restoration training includes the following individual qualifications:
- Water Damage Restoration Technician (WRT): water loss assessment, extraction and drying principles.
- Applied Structural Drying (ASD): structural drying, moisture monitoring and drying strategies.
- Applied Microbial Remediation Technician (AMRT): containment and remediation of mould and microbial contamination.
- Trauma and Crime Scene Technician (TCST): cleaning and decontamination methods for trauma and biohazard work.
Firm certification and individual qualifications are distinct. The people, methods and equipment assigned to a job depend on the work required.
What you can expect
Clear findings, an agreed scope and communication about the work, its limitations and any further repairs required. Restoration work does not automatically resolve the original leak, building defect or ventilation issue; dedicated trades may be needed for those repairs.

Paul Pringle
Managing Director | Restoration and Mould Remediation
Paul Pringle brings more than 10 years of restoration industry experience to Mr Remediation. His background includes water, fire, flood, disaster, mould, trauma, COVID-19 response, ice blasting and sewage projects, from smaller losses to large-scale works.
Before co-founding Mr Remediation, Paul worked with Steamatic and ReAssured Restoration. His experience includes six months in Townsville during the 2019 flood recovery.
Paul values clear communication, practical recommendations and careful attention to detail. He works with homeowners, property managers and businesses to explain the findings and the work needed.
Outside work, Paul enjoys camping, fishing and time with his wife Eliza and their four boys.
Chad Pay
Managing Director | HVAC Hygiene
Chad Pay is an experienced business owner and HVAC hygiene specialist. His background in air conditioning cleaning and hygiene brings a practical focus on detail, workmanship and customer service.
As a co-founder of Mr Remediation, Chad values honesty, reliable communication and explaining the work clearly. He helps clients understand visible contamination, maintenance needs and the options available.
Beyond work, Chad is an advocate for men’s mental health and open conversations in the community. He enjoys fishing, travel and new adventures with his wife Jade.
